Welcome to BARC, the Billing Accounts Receivable Collections unit. BARC is the UCSB campus centralized receivable system. This computerized system produces a monthly statement for any amounts owed to the university, such as registration fees, campus housing charges, phone bills, library fines, and student health services, to name a few.

Who is the parent user name and password for BARC?
For security purposes, PARENT User Name and Password are created and maintained solely by STUDENT Account holders. Form 1098-T is an important document for the preparation of your income return or the income tax return of the person that had paid the University of California, Santa Barbara on your behalf during 2020.
Is the BARC Office Open at normal hours?
The BARC Office, Including Student Billing, Loan Collections, and Cashiers Office will be closed to walk in services beginning 3/17/2020 until further notice. Our staff will be working during normal working hours and will be accepting telephone calls and emails.

Can You overpay your UCSB student account?
UC Santa Barbara does not accept overpayments on student accounts. Please transfer only the amount due on your student account. Excessive overpayments made to UCSB may be returned to the person making the payment.
