Cox recognizes the importance of email in your daily life. To help improve your email experience, we are upgrading the Cox Email platform to deliver an easier to use interface and even better performance than today.

On each device, open the email client and navigate to Settings. Locate your current outgoing server settings, then update the following fields as needed. Enable SMTP authentication for outgoing email, and then enter your Cox Email address and password. Enter one of the following port numbers based on encryption type.

What happens to my email when I cancel Cox?

I’ve was told by a cox rep via live chat, that all Cox can do is transfer ALL email accounts from one cox internet service account, to another, AS LONG AS the new account doesn’t have a primary email account created.
