I recommend the Stopp Filt. It’s a slightly sticky padding and it isn’t woven the way the regular filt is… So, the dirt doesn’t settle on the floor under the rug, and then get ground in… The only real difference I’m aware of is the material each are made from.

Tacky on both sides. In a good way. Jennifer I was worried I’d not know which side faced the floor but after the unfolding it was clear the sticky stuff is on both sides of the felt.
