Is the Ten Thousand Waves resort a good place to stay?

The ground is kept clean and the area surrounding the resort/spa is nice and quiet. You can get a nice quiet time to relax, whichever occasion you are here for: hotel stay, hot soak, or Japanese food fanfare at Izanami (their on-site restaurant). The staff was polite and helpful.

Are there animal products in Ten Thousand Waves?

They do NOT contain mineral oil, alcohol, artifical colors or animal products. All have been tested on bathing beauties, NOT animals. What a great feeling to slip on a kimono and sandals and head out the door to embark on a journey of relaxation.

Is the grand bath at Ten Thousand Waves available?

Yes, some amenities are unavailable but this is to be expected as we are in a pandemic. The grand bath was wonderful; at night the stars are so clear it takes your breath away. The staff were all friendly and -very important to me- no one treated my kids like second class citizens.
