What will you need when visiting Pine Knob? A lift ticket. This is what gives you access to the hill and is required by anyone wearing skis or a snowboard. It gives visitors access to all the lifts including our magic carpet (beginners), the tow ropes, and the chairlifts.

Lots of dodging to be sure you don’t hurt yourself or someone else. We also saw a woman ski FAST straight into the wall of the lodge while we were watching folks ski from the window – she came away with blood streaming down her face – not a good memory of the day. The facilities are ok.
Who is Tim at Pine Knob snowboard resort?
Tim was not a “too cool for school” snowboarder, but a grown up who knew how to teach a skill. MAJOR thanks to Tim. He made our day! Maybe $25 bucks for night skiing during the week and $30 on the weekend. Can’t blame them too much though because this issue seems to be persistent everywhere.
